About us
HomeWizard is the company that gives households insight into their electricity, water and gas consumption. With our handy WiFi meters, users can monitor their energy consumption and their solar production. We want to make people aware of their energy consumption and help them save on energy. Not only is this good for your wallet, but also for the world.
Focus on energy
We started in Noordwijk, the Netherlands, in 2011 as a supplier of home automation and smart kitchen equipment. At the beginning of 2021, we went through a big change when a colleague said, “Shouldn’t we make something useful instead of a air fryer with an app?” And that was the start of HomeWizard as you currently know us; with the focus on energy.
A conscious world
With HomeWizard products you get insight into your energy consumption and the associated costs. Because you become aware of the amount you consume, you will think about the amount of gas, electricity and water you use. Like this we will work towards a conscious world together.
We make everything ourselves
We make our software and hardware from scratch and that is unique in the Netherlands. All our products are conceived, designed, tested and launched from our office in Noordwijk. And of course we do this with the best colleagues. Our products are affordable and easy to use, regardless of your living situation or age. Even your grandma or grandpa can install and use them. And above all, we are completely independent. This means that you can use our products, regardless of which energy supplier you use. We are there for everyone.
The Wizard Club
HomeWizard is the place where passion for software, hardware and energy come together. It is a place where everyone is respected and where people laugh. If you become part of our Wizard club you will probably stay for years. If you like gaming, table tennis or films and series, you won’t be bored at our lunch table! Just don’t mind if you gain a little more ‘you’ to love, with all the amazing snacks we can eat and drink in between.
We hardly receive any emails. We communicate via chat or visit each other’s desks. We trust each other and make an impact. We are innovative and together we are building a world in which we use our energy consciously.
